Named for the Spanish word "enchantment," South Encanto is situated on 640 acres in southeastern San Diego. Home to nearly 7,000 residents, it is bounded on the north by Imperial Avenue, on the south by Division Street, on the east by Woodman Street, and on the west by Valencia Parkway.
