Community Notification
The Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation intends to apply to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for a Brownfields Cleanup Grant. The project site is located at 4970 and 5010 Market Street. We invite public review of the draft proposal and will accept and respond to comments regarding this proposal.
The grant proposal will be discussed and public comments considered at the following public meetings:
- Encanto Neighborhoods Planning Group meeting September 21, 6:00 p.m. Malcolm X Library, 5148 Market Street
- Coalition of Neighborhood Councils General Meeting Tubman Chavez Multicultural Center 415 N. Euclid Avenue September 28, 6:00 p.m.
A copy of the proposal is available for public review and comment at the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center, Main Lobby Reception Desk, 404 Euclid Avenue, San Diego, CA 92114.
The deadline for submitting the application is October 16th, 2009. Please submit comments prior to that date in writing to Charles Davis, Director of Project Development, email: Cdavis@jacobscenter.org
