Diamond Management, Inc. (DMI) oversees property development, property management, business development, contractor development and operations for the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation (JCNI). DMI’s mission as a training business is to reclaim blighted properties and build social and economic value in the Diamond Neighborhoods.

DMI oversees the development and management of all JCNI-owned properties, including Market Creek Plaza, the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center, the Bryco Business Park, and the rest of the parcels that make up the 45-acre Village at Market Creek.

Beyond building structures, DMI’s role is to build individual and collective capacity. In construction, it partners with minority and women-owned contracting firms to build their skills, experience, and readiness to take on other larger jobs throughout San Diego. DMI helps contractors remove barriers to growth — such as access to capital, bonding, and insurance — to better equip them to take on bigger jobs.

DMI also partners with local entrepreneurs who locate their businesses in The Village. DMI staff works with small businesses through technical assistance and access to the capital they need to grow their businesses.
